Henry's love of food and wine lead his career into hospitality. From late teens and discovering the paradise of Port Douglas, to returning mid twenty's and working at some of the best venue's in town (think 90's)The Sheraton Mirage, Mango Jam, Nautilus... Henry's passion was always to open his own place that fit into the social & friendly vibe of Port yet operated with exceptional service and provided a fantastic wine list. Sept 2011 the dream came true with the opening of Seabean Tapas Bar offering a slice of Mediterranean inspired dishes in his tropical home.
Bringing up a family with his wife and business partner, Lesley, in this amazing part of the world has enabled a chilled and very happy life so far, especially when fishing.. and there's still a long way to go!
